In-browser R Shiny app

IRT/RTSM UAT tracker

Your study inputs · optional fictional exampleR runs in your browser: Shinylive and webR

Record test outcomes, trace requirements, manage defects and review a reproducible go-live gate for an IRT/RTSM build. Upload client-neutral test scripts, requirements and an optional defect log through guided column mapping. Complete workspace export retains all edited tests, defects, traceability and computed gate evidence; a responsible reviewer still grants approval.

Try this

  1. Upload your test scripts, traceability and optional defect log, or start by downloading blank templates.
  2. Record results, retest fixes and trace uncovered requirements. Save the complete workspace to retain every editable table.
  3. Load the fictional example to explore the documented RAND-04 and SUP-03 scenarios.

Before you start

  • Your study inputs · optional fictional example. No client is preconfigured. Uploaded inputs stay in this browser session; closing or reloading clears them. Save the complete workspace to retain inputs, edits, settings and outputs.
  • R runs in your browser. Shinylive and webR run the same R code as local R; nothing you enter leaves your computer.
  • First visit: about 220 MB of runtime files before host compression. Transfer size depends on compression and caching; startup usually takes 30 to 90 seconds on a fast connection and longer on a slow one. Later visits take 10 to 30 seconds, because R starts fresh each time.
  • Getting started: No installation is needed for this browser app. The source is also available in the toolkit.
The UAT tracker on first load: the Start here guide with the color key and three things to try; five KPI boxes reading 29 test scripts, 22 passed, 2 failed (RAND-04 and SUP-03), 3 open defects and 97% of requirements traced; the start of the test-script table; and the go-live gate reading NOT ready - blocked, its first criterion naming RAND-04 and COH-03.
The explicitly loaded fictional example. Your own study starts from the blank data setup; the app follows the site’s light or dark theme.
Starting The page is ready; the app starts here.

Starting the app

  1. This page and its instructions
  2. Service worker, which lets R serve the app inside this page
  3. R (webR) and the app's packages: download and start
  4. The app's page, served by R
  5. The first results, computed by R

Built with Shiny, Shinylive and webR. The app is the same R code that runs locally; this page reports each step of starting it, so a slow or failed start says what happened instead of staying blank. It follows the theme toggle in the top bar.
