Unofficial. A directed branching-network view of public NOAA river forecasts — not an official source, and it does not replace the National Water Prediction Service. In a flood emergency, call 911 and follow local officials.
River Flood Network
When a place floods, the water came from somewhere upstream. This builds the upstream tributary tree and asks the question a single gauge can't answer: of all the rivers feeding this spot, which branches have elevated reports — the main stem, or a specific tributary that's in flood while the others are calm?

How this works
About. An unofficial prototype that reorganizes NOAA's own public gauge data onto the USGS river network. It does not forecast better than NWS — it screens upstream gauge reports across branches, which a per‑gauge page can't. Always follow the National Weather Service / National Water Prediction Service and local officials; call 911 in an emergency.
